Who are we?
We are a revolving fund named Fondo para el Desarrollo de Recursos Humanos (FIDERH) managed by the Central Bank of Mexico.
Our Mission
To offer affordable loans for Mexican students to finance their graduate studies, in Mexico or abroad.
Applicant Profile
- Mexican citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree (8/10 average).
- Official certificate of a second language.
- Unconditional letter of acceptance from a graduate program.
FIDERH's loans

Up to $200,000 pesos per year to study abroad.

9 to 36 month programs.

We cover tuition, living expenses or medical insurance.

Applicable to current graduate students.
- We support any graduate program within these six main areas:
Engineering and Technology, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Business, Humanities, Health, and Agriculture.

- The lowest interest rate in Mexico.
- No administrative costs.
- No payments and no interests during studies.
- Students receive the money in foreign currency and pay back in Mexican pesos.
- Start paying one year after graduation.
- Interest rate can be discounted if students pay on time and work in Mexico.
- Interest is forgone if students work on a Mexican university as a researcher or professor.
- We have colaboration agreements with Universities around the world.
